Whistler, British Columbia is a quintessential mountain town: Located just two hours north of Vancouver, it’s a place to ski, escape into nature and simply breathe in the fresh air. In 2010, the village gained notoriety for hosting the Nordic Events of the 2010 Winter Olympics (XXI Olympic Winter Games). Just a few years later, Whistler-native Peter Buchanan broke ground on his most ambitious project to date. In 2014, Buchanan set out to build on a sprawling two acres of land on the village’s south side. Along with his firm, Vision Pacific of Whistler, he designed an elegant, exclusive home that takes total advantage of the mountain views. For its windows and doors, he wanted beautiful products that maximized the views and did not sacrifice quality. So, he partnered with Marvin.
