SLIDING WINDOWS

Sliding windows offer vast unobstructed views, promote ventilation, and are ideal for large horizontal rooms.

WHAT ARE SLIDING WINDOWS?

Sliding windows, sometimes known as gliders, operate similarly to double-hung windows. The main difference is that the sashes move to the right and left rather than up and down. Sliding windows may have one or several operating sashes, or they may be paired with picture windows. Sliding window working sashes can tilt in, swing in, or be removed allowing simple cleaning of both sides of the glass.

Sliding windows offer vast unobstructed views, promote ventilation, and are ideal for large horizontal rooms. Because sliding windows do not extend past the plane of the wall, they are ideal for high traffic areas such as decks, walkways, or areas where a garden or landscaping is close to the home.
